Zoology Department

Department at a Glance:-

·         Zoology department is established from the inception of the college in 1989. It offers under graduate Bachelor of Science in zoology.

·        The department strives to promote all-round development of the students thorough various academic and co curricular activities

·        Beyond the conventional methods of teaching OHP, LCD and NET facilities are used to make classroom teaching effective.

·        The practical anatomical study is done through alternative methods.

·      Alternative to Dissection has become a major part of the department as the students work in the Zoology workshop and make the Dissectible models themselves which are then used for study and practical exams.

·        Projects on Biodiversity are done regularly by students.

·        Student seminars, model making, chart making and guest lectures are regular feature of the department
